Texans GM Rick Smith Speaks

The quiet man in the Texans organization, GM Rick Smith, has a few candid things to say in this Brian T. Smith Houston Chronicle story.  He doesn’t listen to sports talk radio but Smith did say this. “Here’s what I do: I will tell you that from time to time, I need to know the pulse of what’s going on.  And so I don’t make it a habit to listen to sports radio, for example. But I do try to read the articles that are out. I try to be aware of what the perception of our football team is. Not that it influences anything that I do, but just so that I’m aware of it.”
