Babe RuthIn this New York Times article, Babe Ruth’s 97 year old daughter, Julia Ruth Stevens, talks about how her dad wanted to integrate baseball.  She said Babe wanted to manage and, as a manager, he was going to bring in black ballplayers well before Jackie Robinson. She also discusses one of his legendary homeruns.
