The Katy Football Machine

Katy TigersHead Coach Mike Johnston created the Katy Tiger football tradition & dominance.  However, Johnston says the courage of a player named Jason DeBusk played a huge part in the change of culture in Katy.  In this Jenny Dial Creech Houston Chronicle story, we get a unique inside look at what is now one of the most dominant football programs in the nation.  Here is the 2nd part of the series with more on Gary Joseph taking over the program.
